FAQ
What happens once I have 4 apartments?
Nothing changes. Yarmlen is free for any number of apartments, with every feature. If paid plans for larger portfolios ever come, we will announce them well in advance and charge nothing without your agreement — and the first three apartments stay free forever.
Do tenants pay anything?
No. We're planning to add the option to pay a bill straight from the app in the future — for a small fee, and entirely optional, never required.
My tenants don't want to install an app.
They don't have to install anything — Yarmlen works in the phone's browser. There's an Android app for anyone who wants one; iPhone is coming later.
What happens to my data?
Readings and bills stay for as long as you keep them — we never delete them on our own. Meter photos are kept in full quality for 13 months, then shrink to a copy where the digits are still readable. You can delete your account at any time; the account deletion page says exactly what that removes and what is kept.
Who can see the readings and bills?
A tenant only ever sees their own apartment — never a neighbour's, never another unit in your portfolio. The database itself checks this on every request, not just the app screen.
Can I use this from outside Ukraine?
Yes. The interface is available in English and Russian too, and a phone number from any country works.
